These plots are for all processed scans that have magnitude thresholds for unconfused areas, which are 15.50, 14.75 and 14.25 mag for J, H and K, respectively. There are 1,485 such scans in every band.
The plots show every background sigma value. The coadd noise plots show the full range of minimum coadd noise values, but many maximum coadd noise values are off-scale. This scaling was picked to allow comparison of the distributions of the coadd noise and background sigma noise.
