Plots of coadd sigma and background sigma versus each other and magnitude threshold

These plots are for all processed coadds that have bkgnd_sigma > 0.7, 1.3 and 1.3 for J, H and K, respectively. Note that the plots do not include coadds that have bkgnd_sigma values lower than those values, which also imposes a coadd noise lower threshold as well. High background sigma values are dominantly observed in areas with high source densities, but also result from scans with severe airglow.

The pink line is "coadd_noise = bkgnd_sigma".
