IPAC Research BB Lunch Raffle Rules & Recommendations AFB 23 March 2007 As described in the general announcement (19 March), to "motivate" participation in the IPAC Research BB (researchBB), the Directors have generously agreed to support a quarterly "Lunch Raffle" -- a lunch for four at the Ath. Broadly, the lunch raffle winner will be selected at _random_ from entries submitted to the researchBB in the preceeding quarter (more specificity will be given below). The lucky winner will get lunch at to Ath for themself and three others of their choosing. The Lunch Raffle Rules are as follows: 1) The researchBB lunch raffle will be held once a quarter, with a winner randomly drawn from all eligible researchBB entries submitted in the preceeding quarter. 2) (Nominally) the submitter of ALL submitted researchBB entries is eligible and automatically enrolled in the lunch raffle. There will be exactly one eligible entry per researchBB submission (read that, enter as many times as you like...) 3) To avoid the appearance of impropriety, Greater IPAC Directors, DDs, HoSS staff, and Center Managers are ineligible from participating in the lunch raffle. 4) Eligibility judgments for the lunch raffle are made by the researchBB administrator, and those judgments are final. 5) Approximately quarterly, all eligible entries (submitted in the preceeding quarter) are included in a drawing for the lunch winner. There shall be exactly one winner per drawing, and that winner shall be selected at random. 6) Drawing selections shall be made by Mary Ellen Barba (or her duly designated representative). Drawing results by Mary Ellen are final.
