from L.A. to Mojave

this period. The event itself, however, was a bit hard to see, since
the sun was in the same direction.
We also had a perfectly blue sky, so the tiny craft were hard to see
and the eyes have quite some
to focus without any reference. It was still a great event, and we
certainly had the sense
that we had attended a
historic event, the first privately undertaken flight into space.
