Notes:   Confirmed binary, sdO+G5 III (2MASS colors consistent with G3-K0 III), a = close (<0.05″) (2007AJ....134...26H and references therein). Planetary nebula central star (PN G339.9+88.4). The hot (T > 100,000 K; 1983ApJ...269..592F) component in IN Com is widely referred to as a subdwarf or WD precursor (e.g., 1986A&A...169..139R). It has been suggested in several literature sources that IN Com might be a triple system containing a close (possibly interacting) binary and a detached third component (likely a late M dwarf), although the identification of which stars are involved in the close versus wide binaries, and their corresponding orbital periods, has not been conclusively established (summarized in 1997A&A...322..511S).
