Observational Mishaps

A further project of mine (together with Kristin Chiboucas and Denise Hurley-Keller) is the creation and maintenance of an online image database of observational mishaps, i.e., somewhat screwed up telescope images. The purpose of this database is to provide observers at astronomical telescopes with perhaps a first idea as to what might be causing problems they are experiencing. For most images, some advice about how to solve the problem is given.
