Version 3.0 of the 2MASS Production Processing System (2MAPPS v3.0) was frozen on 1 August 2001, in preparation for the second Operational Test. The pipeline software was placed under change control by the Change Control Board (CCB).
Any required or optional software changes must be proposed to this Board for consideration. Proposals should include a description of the problem or augmentation the modification addresses, the scope of the change (all data or some subset), and impact of the change on data uniformity, results of testing, and the risks associated with implementation.
