The first phase of the PPIV project was completed in July 1998 with a successful conference at the University of California, Santa Barbara (pictured below). This lively meeting was attended by 500 participants from 27 countries, and it comprised 50 talks and some 350 posters. The next two phases were the PPIV book and a special issue of the journal Icarus, both of which were completed in 2000. Please use the selection table below for further information.
