Research interests: properties of compact objects (white dwarfs, neutron stars, black holes), magnetars (SGRs and AXPs), X-ray binaries and X-ray transients, late stages of massive star evolution, stellar mass loss, supernova remnants, accretion processes, formation and evolution of binary stars.
